This is going to be my honest review of SiteGround hosting.
You may be wondering what this site is.
It’s the WordPress hosting company that I use for all of my websites.
I think it’s only right that I give you my honest thoughts and opinions on this company.

On to the review!
What is SiteGround?
As I mentioned, SiteGround is a website hosting company.
For those of you that don’t know, when you want to create any kind of website, you always need hosting.
Hosting is basically the service that your website will live on.
It’s likely where you will purchase your domain from.
And it has everything to do with the speed of your website and the amount of downtime that your website has.
It’s sort of like renting a room at a hotel.
You are staying in the hotel but you rent out a room and that’s where you’ll live for the duration of your visit.
Millions of other people use these hosting companies so you are basically renting out your own little home on the internet.
This is yours so you want to make sure that before you invite people in, it’s the best it can be.
Which means you need to make sure you choose the hosting site that is best for you and your website.
The question that I hear a lot is whether or not SiteGround is truly the best.
A lot of you want to know if SiteGround hosting is better than BlueHost and GoDaddy.
I’ll answer these two similar but very different questions for you.
Is SiteGround Better than BlueHost?
Yes! SiteGround is really better than BlueHost.
I say that with no hesitation because BlueHost is a great company but they really don’t amount to SiteGround.
Now, I know there are some real life BlueHost fans that are probably going to come for me after this post and that’s okay.
I got one job right now and that’s to be completely honest with you.
I am an affiliate for SiteGround as well as BlueHost and let me just say that I would make more from BlueHost.
But with me, it’s not about the money.
I want my amazing readers to be informed and make the right decision about hosting.
You should be happy with your purchase, not wondering if there is something better out there.
Don’t get me wrong, BlueHost is an AMAZING hosting company as well. BlueHost ain’t weak.
But neither is SiteGround.
BlueHost comes in at a close second to SiteGround.

Is SiteGround Better Than GoDaddy?
GoDaddy can’t hold a candle to SiteGround.
Sorry, all you GoDaddy lovers.
But it’s true.
GoDaddy was my hosting company for over a year.
If you want to know why I switched from GoDaddy to SiteGround, check out this post. (Why I Switched Post, coming soon).
Now, let’s discuss some of the awesome reasons why SiteGround is king in the hosting arena.
It’s no secret that SiteGround has the best customer support.
Their customer support service is top-rated and widely recognized by some of the largest brands.
Don’t believe me? Test it for yourself.
Even if you are not a current SiteGround customer, you can still receive support from them.
And I know you will be amazed.
They are available 24/7 through phone, chat, and email.
I have visited support through all 3 means and each and every time I was impressed.
Impressed at how knowledgeable and responsive the team is.
I frequent support and I am never disappointed.
I can honestly say that I’ve never had a cause for complaint when dealing with anyone at this company.
The support is truly unmatched!
SiteGround is a WordPress expert.
Along with the unmatched customer support, their knowledge and know-how when it comes to WordPress sets them apart from other hosting companies.
With just about every other hosting company, they will tell you to contact WordPress if you have issues.
Not the case with SiteGround.
SiteGround knows a lot about WordPress and they are always ready and willing to provide working solutions.
They have managed WordPress service.
This means that they have developed tons of solutions for WordPress in-house such as the WordPress Starter, WordPress Migrator, SG Optimizer and more.
And let’s not forget that SiteGround is recommended by both WordPress.org and WooCommerce as one of the best WordPress hosting providers.
Optimized for Incredible Speed
SiteGround is fast! Enough said.
This means that your website will load fast.
They have developed their own web-caching service called Super Cacher.
This helps to further boost the site’s speed.
Proactive Approach to Security
You don’t have to worry about your website being hacked.
They take security very seriously.
SiteGround is serious about website security and uptime.
Uptime is also important because if your site is down then you will miss out on traffic.
They protect clients’ sites on three levels: application, server, and network.
What’s even more, their security team maintains a Web Application Firewall (WAF) with custom rules that stop numerous third-party software vulnerabilities.
A quick run-down of the great tools they have are:
- Easy Start for beginners
- Free Website Migration
- Developer Tools
- Collaboration Tools
How Do I Signup?
By now, you’ve probably heard enough.
Now, you just want to know how you can sign up.
Let me tell you, it’s easy.
To get started you need to sign up through this link so you can receive your great discounts.
You can only get these discounts through my link.
I’ll run through the steps of the signup process for you.
Step 1: Choose a Hosting Plan
There are three plans and regardless of where you are in your journey, you can sign up for either plan that you choose.
My recommendation for my readers is the StartUp plan because a lot of you are just starting out and may want to start off with something cheaper.
This plan is great if you only have 1 website, which many of you do.
However, if you can afford a little more and you have 2 or more sites, I highly recommend the GrowBig website.
It’s still great for beginners that are already growing.
Step 2: Choose a Domain Name
You can choose to buy a new domain, or signup with an existing domain.
SiteGround offers a wide range of domain extensions at awesome prices.
Step 3: Review and Complete the Order
Unlike many other hosting providers, SiteGround’s advertised discount applies to any period that you choose during the sign up process.
With a lot of hosting providers, you only receive the discount if you choose the longest period such as 2 or 3 years.
This is not the case with SiteGround.
With them, you can still get the low price for the 1 year period.
This is a big deal!
Don’t let it pass you by!
Yes, SiteGround hosting is the best hands down.
There are few hosting providers that come even close to this company.
It is a great company for beginners that are getting their feet wet with blogging.
If you want to sign up for SiteGround and receive the lowest price, signup through this link to get an amazing discount on your plan!
